That Night….(Conclusion)

We felt things were set in place as before….

Everyone was busy with their routines…

On a regular sunny day, my brother teamed up with his gang to play cricket in the adjacent park at our home, After finishing the game, he and his friend stopped by a shop to get a drink being exhausted by the match.

It is then, He found a person continuously staring at him and whispering to someone next to him by pointing fingers towards my brother.

Noticing all these acts, My brother gotta feel it fishy and so he tried checking with him on what’s the matter.

But the counter person dared enough to take a knife from his back pocket with a warning pose to my brother and left from there on a bike.

Although my brother tried to go after them, the duo managed gearing up their bike and escaped from the scene…

After knowing all these, I am so surprised to believe that these sort of things do happen in real life apart from movies and that too with my brother…

Oh my lord, I am scared and equally worried for him, so we started restricting him to go alone and urged him to roam in gangs as we never know what way that fellow may come from….

Little after this incident, my father happened to stay away from home for a couple of days being on an emergency and right then my brother argued with mom for attending his friend’s birthday party at 12:00 AM as he is so close to him.

My mother and I tried a lot to get him understand the situation but he is so rigid about his decision so we ended up feeling annoyed..

That night, after finishing our dinner, we went to bed and he as per his plan left home to attend his friend’s place which is next to our lane almost close to some 11 PM, promising that he will return home immediately after getting done with the party.

Round to 1 AM, He returned home and mom helped in opening the door for him…

Once he is back home, We were relieved as we thought everything went normal….

But we were wrong in calculation, until we happened to track his behaviour unusual…

He is trying to hide his tears and doing his best of thing to make his fear go unnoticed but who can escape from mom, she can sense every odd from her child.

So upon serious check, he revealed that, on his way back home from party, two people attacked him suddenly beside our home, they were so quick that he couldn’t counter attack them, they covered his mouth with cloth, then dragged him into park near by and bet him so hard and before leaving, they warned him saying “Don’t act like a hero, if you does, this is what happens”, While narrating this, my brother was shivering from his spine..

I broke down seeing him so…

Now it is very obvious to understand, that bloody bastard who escaped that day from our hands is the guy who dared to warn with knife and now today till this extreme step.

We immediately lodged a complaint against him and accompanied police to his work place to get him under bars, but got to know from their supervisor that, he got suspended being teasy with female workers in site and already left to his place somewhere in Orissa.

Then police warned the respective supervisor to take extra care while hiring staff from non-local contractors and parted our ways.

That’s how this story got unfolded with many twists and turns!!

Although THAT dark NIGHT left marks on his skin, I am proud of my little one for his courageous stand out for others..

In-fact he earned much more respect for his attitude…

Happy Raksha Bandhan!!!

Relation between a brother and sister is very special and colourful, It is always filled with naughtiness and packs of energy.

They share anything and everything, they feel the other as equally own soul and blood that stands as an image of the other all time out of all odds either with family or society.

And this Raksha Bandhan brings light on this fact materially by tying threads of promises and symbolizes living one for the other for whole life being born as siblings.

On this great occasion, I love to express my bro how much he mean to me:

Bro..No one can replace you in my life..

You make me feel worthy enough for what I am!

We can never forget the way we troubled each other by revealing all our silly secrets to our little don Mamma.

The memory of our trifling fights leaves me with a smile.

My mind reminds our memories: When we both get on our nerves, I remember saying you don’t dare to talk to me again..

While you come up with Thumbs up pet bottle which ends the statement of mine…hahhahaha!

I can picture our moments where we pass many late nights discussing all nonsense around so deeply and seriously!

I can still figure your face when you try to fake your mood as if everything is so normal though it is alarming within.

Bro…You are so unique…so special….so pure…

Eyes that look are common but eyes that see are rare!

You are one among them, who always make some time for everyone around you.

Many say that you stay still at times where you need to act.

But I believe still waters run deep…

Likewise you tune others to right course when they cross their arena of success may be in small way but makes a great difference!

Proud of you my hero…..Very thankful to god for having you on my side as a naughty bro of mine.

Happy Raksha Bandhan!
